The main climatic factors in the physical processes of dust storm formation, transportation and deposition including Temperature, humidity, evapotranspiration, air mass, wind velocity, convection and other wind-driven motions as well as the effect of drought on dust storm recorded and analyzed by IRIMO.
National Drought Warning and Monitoring Center (NDWMC) Dust Products:
- Mapping monthly total dust days (within visibility less than 1 and 5 km) for thecurrent year and comparing to the same month in the previous year and long-term average.
- Mapping the current 3-month of total dust days (within visibility less than 1 and 5 km) and comparing to the same period in the previous year and long-term averages.
- Mapping the current solar-year-to-month of total dust days (within visibility less than 1 and 5 km) and comparing to the same period in the previous year and long-term averages.
- Impact analysis of climate change on dust storm events in the previous years and for decades to come.
